Have a question, found something unexpected, or need help using Fairward? Contact us by email. Fairward is developed by John Milly.

For a problem report, include your iPhone model, iOS version, Fairward version, the city you were viewing, and what happened. A screenshot can help. Please leave out information you do not want to share.

Do I need to share my location?

No. You can choose a city yourself. If you choose Current location, Fairward requests approximate location while you use the app to find your city. You can change location permission in your iPhone’s Settings. Fairward does not track your location in the background.

How are places suggested?

Fairward combines Apple Weather forecasts, local time, and nearby places from Apple Maps. On supported iPhones with Apple’s on-device model available, AI can help select among those places. Otherwise, Fairward uses weather-based matching.

Why can’t I see weather or suggestions?

Check your internet connection and try refreshing. A provider may be temporarily unavailable, or Fairward may not find suitable results in the selected area. Try another city if the problem continues. Cached forecasts can be older than current conditions; check the timestamp and any message in the app.

Is a suggested place open?

A suggestion does not guarantee opening hours, availability, or safe conditions. Confirm hours, admission, reservations, and local conditions with the venue before leaving. Some venues have published schedules, while others are marked as having unverified hours.

How do I get there?

Open a suggestion’s details. Apple Maps opens its place information, and Directions opens a route in Apple Maps. Review the destination and route before you travel.

Does every iPhone need Apple Intelligence?

No. Fairward uses weather-based matching when on-device AI is unavailable. On-device AI selection requires a supported iPhone, iOS 26 or later, and an available Apple Intelligence model. Fairward itself supports iOS 17 or later.

What can I change?

Preferences includes saved cities, temperature units, optional check-in reminders, and System, Light, or Dark appearance. Fairward supports system text sizing and reduced-motion settings. If something is difficult to read or use, please tell us your device and relevant accessibility settings.
