A day, in watercolor.

Original illustrations generated with the built-in image-generation tool for Fairward. Each uses a public-domain photograph as a place reference, with loose brushwork and unfinished edges. The story’s layered versions were reconstructed from these paintings with the same image-generation tool, extending hidden background areas so the foreground and background can move independently. Reduced Motion displays the original still paintings.

About the story

This is an illustrative, possible day in San Francisco, not a customer account, live forecast, or automatically generated itinerary. The handwritten notes are illustrative editorial copy, not testimonials. The Ferry Building illustration shows the setting for lunch, not a documented restaurant interior.

Venue context was checked against Hog Island’s San Francisco location page and the National Park Service’s Crissy Field guide. Venue availability, conditions, and hours should be checked before visiting. The venues have not endorsed Fairward.

About the screens

The ten phone images are unretouched captures of Fairward’s native main screen in an iPhone 17 Pro simulator. They show real WeatherKit forecasts fetched for September 30, 2026, replayed at selected city-local hours in a simulator-only development mode. Venue selections remain staged examples, not results produced by the live recommendation engine. These are forecasts, not observations recorded at those times or current weather. The gallery features San Francisco, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Nashville, New York, and Chicago in light and dark appearances.

The three story captures show Japanese Tea Garden in See, Hog Island Oyster Co. in Eat, and Crissy Field in Do. Venue coordinates in this capture setup are placeholders, not navigation information. The San Francisco story uses 9 AM (61°F), noon (72°F), and 6 PM (66°F) forecasts from the same day. The app’s city clock and highlighted chart hour match each selected forecast hour. WeatherKit attribution is retained. The separate iPhone status bar shows the actual simulator capture time, around 7:45–7:47 AM, rather than the selected forecast hour. These screens illustrate the interface and do not represent current conditions. No screenshot text has been retouched. Fairward suggests places; it does not plan or book a multi-stop itinerary.

The Meet Fairward, New York, and Salt Lake City images show expanded venue details. The three story phones retain their weather charts. Their visible “Report an issue” control is a development-only simulator prototype, not a shipping, server-connected reporting feature.

The Crissy Field detail capture also appears beside the Meet Fairward introduction. See the included Inter font licenses. Journal notes use locally bundled Caveat, licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
